I picked up one of these recently and it has a 90 degree tube unfortunately. There is also a SS1909S (up on eBay) but it is from 1990 and from other comments it appears to not be a 100 degree tube. Terry on this thread found a 100 degree tube on a SS1909W...
So heres my question, can this tube be used for a 6100 Replacement with the correct yolk? Some people say yes they have and others say no . So if it is No. Please explain why.

Strange that the same model could have two different tubes but maybe 1985 ones came with 100 degree and 1986 (like mine) came with 90 degree
In my internet searching, I discovered that a "W" suffix TV has fake walnut woodgrain finish while a "P" has fake pecan woodgrain finish.
