If you ever see a Tron pinball, you can thank me...
I was talking to Chas at Stern Pinball recently, and I mentioned how I'd like to see more new pins with less licensing and more generic themes - sort of like how Funhouse, Whirlwind, and Medieval Madness were done - and they were talking about how certain licensed titles were big moneymakers overseas where pinball is still much more popular than over here (although Chas conceded that it might have been a mistake to release 24 and CSI so close together, and so long after their initial popularity).
So - I told them - one pinball licensed theme that I think a lot of collectors may be interested in would be a Tron pinball, especially with the new Tron movie coming out soon. The answer was, "Hmm. Tron would be cool, wouldn't it?"
So, if a Tron pinball comes out, you know who to thank...
