If you could go to any Arcade in the US...

I am not sure of the name of it, but I know its in seatle. And I thought I saw a news show that said they had 2 or 3 good arcades. So its probably the ground control.

My other ones would be:
Lunacity- Peter Hirschbergs house(never made it up but that would be like a pilgrimage)
And maybe Exidy's house(mainly cause his collection is decent and he also seems to be pretty cool on this group-plus I always wanted to see the rockies).
Coney Island seems like a place everyone should go once in their life for the skee ball if for no other reason.

But those are just the ones off the top of my head.

Check Vaps, theres a guy in my state has like 176 machines if mem serves. Maybe you have some guru collectors in your neck of the woods.

as i stated before, Ground Kontrol isn't in Seattle, it's in Portland. and since High Score closed a number of years ago, there hasn't been a good classic arcade in Seattle. Shorty's has a bunch of pinball and some retro-edition games (Reunion and Retrocade,) but no true classics. Space Port, Arnold's, Ivory's, and the arcade at Northgate have all been closed for a long time now.

while there has been some talk about a bunch of us collectors getting together and creating a Gound Kontrol-like place, i don't know if there is the interest in the market anymore, especially with Shorty's competing for the pinball crowd.

Either Fun Spot or Ground Kontrol are really the only two arcades worth going.

Hey, I take offense to that..

big thanks to Jeff C, John (Gorfchampion) Jow, and ZFCamaro for the votes.

we expanded a bit and are quickly closing in on 70 restored classics.

added Sinistar, Crystal Castles, Battlezone, Hang-On, & Pac-Plus last week alone.

I have also been busy finally adding posters and decorations.
The pics of Phet's game room paint job were inspiring. hmmm

You've got my vote as well. If I went to ANY arcade more than 4 states away, it would be yours.

Eh I wouldn't expect that to happen. He was more than happy to be a show-off to everybody by posting his news clip; but then when any local klovers showed any interest in seeing his collection he completely ignored them all. He seems to be a complete douchebag. I guess that ruins any chance of me seeing his collection; but I don't think there was any chance of that happening anyway.
