Since upgrading to Windows 7 / IE8, about every third click here times out. Anyone else having this issue or know how to fix it? It is just this site, everwhere else seems fine and when I access KLOV from work on IE6, I have no issues at all.....

i have never had any problems like that cause i dont use IE to buggy and unsecure so i use firefox try it and i bet you will like it

Disable all your plug ins for starters. See if one of those are causing issues. Especially if you chose to allow all the extra plugins on the IE 8 initial setup.

IE is an issue no matter the version. Avoid like the plague.

I use FF almost exclusively. IE is a bloated carcass festering in the sun. :D

Edit: Sorry you have to use it.

I haven't had any issues browsing the forums recently. I'd start by clearing your cache/cookies etc. If that doesn't help, try a different browser (Firefox, Chrome) to see if the problem persists. If it does, it may indicate a Windows 7 or network config problem rather than something in IE8.

I'm sorry to hear you're still using IE6 at work. ;)

Thanks for the feedback - I am wondering if it is the lame CA security center software. Makes me wonder if FREE is really worth the headache it causes.

As for using IE6 at work - I actually use Firefox at work, but IE6 is still our standard, believe it or not. The current plan is to move to IE8 over the next 12 months.

I have IE8 here at work and I am not having that problem. This is a fresh install with XP SP3.

Do you happen to work for the federal government? Lots of their users are still stuck on IE6.
