I can't identify the game to the right of Centipede.

And I can't identify the game to the right of Crystal Castles.

Anyone?

I only got to play star rider for a week. Disney in Orlando had like 4 in a row. The sit down version. It looked amazing at the time. I think I spent like $10 a day on that game. Which in the 80s was a lot of scratch.

If I recall, Star Rider is/was the most problematic laserdisc out there.

The boardsets are very problematic; the laserdisc player is unique to the game. Hence, why didn't see it on location *working* years after.

Ken (Yellowdog) here was part of the making of Star Rider team. He had some cool behind the scenes story on the game.

I've not seen 1 working anywhere since the 80s. The sit down one was crazy immersive. I don't know if it stands up now. But at the time visually it was amazing. I remember it felt like a 3D landscape.

I always wanted to play Star Rider. I read an article on it back in '84, and wished I would encounter one but I never did.

The closest thing I came to it was in the early 90s, I visited an arcade that had a sit down Star Rider converted into Hydra. Still had the SR side art, and of course, the unique motorcycle seat.

However, I have managed to obtain a SR laserdisc that was last tested about 8 years. Watched it all the way through and saw all the cool environments. Didn't appear to have a hint of bit rot.
