Hey Everybody,
Been a while since I have been on. So here is a little story.
At my places of work (America's Incredible Pizza Co.) we have Ideal cardreaders on our games. My company owner had a falling out with the owners of Ideal and we no longer have support with them without being charged $ for support.
Soooo, Christmas week my boss told me he wants to switch all the ticket/redemption games over to ticketless so they go onto the gamecard whenever they play. Great, but he wanted it all done(both locations) by the new year. Hah! You can see what today is and I am about 1/3 done. And I don't have all the card readers that I have to (painfully) mount on the outside of the token games.
So I have been switching a lot of games over to this mode. Some were easy and some others are being a real PITA!
So the main question I have is this-Is there anybody here that have dealt with this situation and have dealings with Ideal! I really can't get any "Real" help with Ideal software.
Here is a few of the problems I have:
Some games report too many tickets awarded(Most token games and some standard redemption).
Some have ticket errors(Buster Bubbles, Slam-A-Winner, ICE's Sea Wolf, Red Hot-Mainly Bay Tec and Benchmark games).
The one thing is that this should've been set up correctly when we opened. We should've switched to Socoa when we had the chance.
So I have been coming in early and working overnight shifts so I don't have customers in my way. I am beat and already tired of this damn crap I have to deal with this.
