weird as the overlay does not have the joystick lableling and the holes don't match the joysticks.

Yeah - I'd start looking into whether or not there were any rare/prototype Taito games in that same era, `cause that looks far too neat to be an op mod to me.

Big question.....what's the backside look like? Seems any work would be obvious from the back.

Alpine Ski used a cpo like this, but yeah...its space dungeon.

The stripes on an Alpine Ski CPO are the same but they have a different color scheme.

Yeah, I had the same thoughts as some of you about missing art and no holes where the joysticks should be, but the color scheme of the stripes is clearly from Space Dungeon. Made me wonder as well if it's a prototype...

Bumpage!

I picked this control panel from Bill. Still trying to figure this guy out - might have to turn in my Taito card!

Upon closer inspection - the cp is 'way' to nice for a conversion. If you look at the back, they're no cutouts for the joysticks (Space Dungeon) at all. No bondo job, nothing...

From the looks of the control scheme... it almost look like an Asteroids clone perhaps? What sucks is that the middle of the control panel is missing some sort of instruction stickers.

Looking at the archives for "taito" on here, nothing fits the description for this particular control setup...

Step up Taito gurus - let's put closure to this.....
