ID this EXIDY

Pretty clean conversion. Any idea if that's an Exidy power supply that is sill being used? Never had a Venture or Pepper II, so not totally familiar with what they are supposed to look like inside.
No idea what the parts belong to, what is original, gonna have to do my homework.

If you can shoot a picture of the PS through the coin door and post it, I can tell you if it matches my TG 2 which has an Exidy / Cinematronics supply.

You can already see through the backdoor that the Exidy linear supply / regulator PCB / transformer assembly is mounted to the wall.
But you cannot see if a switcher (or other supply) has been added instead somewhere on the floor of the cabinet - which I doubt.

By comparison, this is what a dedicated Venture looks like from the back -> (looks similar to the OPs pic)

How to restore a partially converted Venture cabinet?

ARTWORK - side art, marquee and CPO are "theoretically" available

ARTWORK - bezel ??

LOGIC BOARD - original boards are expensive, or could us a Bitkit2 but would need an EXIDY to JAMMA adapter

POWER SUPPLY - already there but should be "reconditioned"

MONITOR - a nice WG4600 already there but should have a capkit and reflow

CP - definitely need an original CP with the LARGE STICK and the small PLYR1/2 buttons

Would it be worth it to restore?
ANSWER: Definitely. :)

@VectorCollector Thanks for posting this picture!

I just started removing the guts from a Tempest cabaret converted to Gyruss. The power supply and brick looked familiar, but I couldn't place them. Thanks to your picture, now I know since they match that Venture, green paint and all. There are two bricks and at least one matches.

I suspect somebody needs these for an Exidy restoration.
