I just picked up an ICT-101 In circuit IC tester.
It was produced by MSI Micro sciences, Inc.

The manual says it was copyrighted in 1983.

While it won't check many of the Newer IC chips. It will check older TTL and Cmos chips.
It will check two eproms 2716 and 2732.

It will check 2114 ram chips, which is kind of sweet.

Even though it was an odd brand of IC tester, I thought it would be fun to play around with for a while.

There is a guy in the Uk who has one of these but no manual. I will need to scan this in house and maybe I find someone to host the file.

The posted picture is not of mine but at least you can see what it looks like.

Does solder even melt at 395°?

Oh, cool sounding IC tester, too.

I thought it might be Celsius but 743 Fahrenheit is a bit high. He probably does what I do when I walk away for a break and turn it down.

I want one of them testers. I have some plans to build one but it would cost more than buying a used one. The one I wanted to build requires a good chip to compare the inputs and outputs but wouldn't do rams.

Congrats on a cool tool.
