Ice Cold Beer Trouble...

When i got my first ICB it worked fine, except the sound for when you move the bar up and down wasn't present.....
At a party it had ran approx 8 hours strait with no errors (except the missing moving sound) it crashed.... and if i try to power it up it still wont "run" - but i can make it run if i mingle with the free credits switch on the coin door, as shown in this video:
Though, the counter doesn't work, so the leftover time points aren't added :(
-Sometimes i have to mingle with the free credits switch for 2 minutes before something´s happen....

Is this a loose connection, a bad ram or???

Thanks
Michael

I just used one of my test wires with alligator clips on either end. There are small posts that stick out fromt he board at the test points which makes it easy to connect to.

Sounds good.

I'm lacking the 6 volts at tp5 - tp6. I'll be replacing the bridge rectifiers on my pcb, hoping that will solve the problems with my machine.

The test went well!
Though, none of the test points was near that voltage amount you wrote!
I did´nt even get till the self test thing before it was working properly!

so, now im the happy owner of to ICB - fully working (move sound on the 1st one is working!)

The voltage is right from the manual. You have to test across the point...like put one end of the multimeter on TP1, then the other end on TP2.

Doesn't matter anyway, since you must have proper voltage is the thing is working for you now! :)
I'm glad you're set. Hopefully I'll have mine running soon too.

That´s what i did... still no near the voltage levels you provided..

I can imagine! - it´s so addictive, and i´m sure you love it!
Thank you for your help! :D
