Ice Cold Beer Solenoid Assembly... Holding in plastic plunger?

The bottom of the plunger has been ground down. I will get a Q one and have it modified. Do you have the dimensions of the one you did, since I don't have an original to measure off?

I can cut one down for you on the lathe and cut the c-clip groove.

I was going to order up a couple sleeves and maybe a spare set of belts from you also.
I think I have ordered everything you have for Q and ICB in the past 6 months!

Got my new plunger, thanks Riptor, and the solenoid works great now! One last problem, the plunger doesn't reach the ball? I can move it higher, but does something else look wrong? It is the reproduction plastic back piece.

Sorry to revive an old thread - did you end up solving the reach-problem with the repro ball guide and the custom-cut plunger? I just installed one in mine, same deal - the stock plunger can't reach through to engage the ball. I wondered if I could find a longer plastic insert perhaps for the plunger. I guess I could drill and remount higher, if need be - just hate to do that. Maybe the repro ball channel guide doesn't reach this far down compared to the original?

Mine's got bigger problems, my solenoid has never even attempted to fire and inspecting the board I found some glob-solder work around what I think is a missing trace workaround for one of the drive transistors. Mailed it off to a pro, it doesn't need my hacks added to the mess that's there.

I did have a longer one, maybe from Q'Bert? It never really worked right though. I had so many hours into that stupid ball kicker that I got frustrated with it and traded it and bought another ICB.
So I guess that was the fix for me!
