Ice Cold Beer MD

Already on it.

If you get it an you're missing any pieces, lemme know. I have an extra ball for it and I'm getting in a few extra long actuator micro-switches for the limit switches on the rails.

Also, if you get it... clean and regrease the damned rails... they'll need them, trust me.

Good luck! Love mine.

he wants $400 for it non working. Thats not in my budget. I'm hoping we can work down the price. Seems like a nice enough guy.

I had a feeling it was going to be around that much based on the pinball price. I don't have the money for it either right now.

If it means anything, they're VERY easy to work on. Should be able to talk him down... Just remind him it's a video game, without the video part.

They're not well known, not too popular (outside of collectors) etc etc... if he had thought it was actually worth anything, he'd've mentioned in in the headline or made a separate post for it.

He'll come down in price, I'm sure of it.

I got mine non-working for $170.

It was board issues though, PS needed new bridges and some sockets on the game board had to be replaced. IF it's just a pully issue, then that'd be even better.

I wouldn't go over $200... I lucked out on mine and kept bidding (real life auction)... I went over my "limit" by $10, and luckily the guy I was bidding against, I guess, had the same limit... because he finally stopped and I won.

That's in an auction environment... so YMMV. Check with him to see what the issue is, if the game keeps resetting... probably a socket issue like mine was (I hope). If it resets without a thud sound, then there could be a bridge issue too (Radio Shack, amazingly enough, carries bridges that will work)... board issues are harder than stringing some weed-eater line up to make the pullies work. If the thing is completely dead in the water... no idea. Check with him to see exactly how "non-working" it is... if the pullys just keep pulling (not finding their limits)... simple switch or chip replacement.

Personally, I love mine... but I went WELL over my $50 limit for non-working games for this one... and I'm really happy I did.

Remember though, if it is a board issue... they are really simple... no video shit, no VRAM shit... no nothing like that. Anyone that does board work, and has one of these, should be (SHOULD BE, I'm probably the exception and just REALLY lucked out) able to fix it in no time assuming the all the chips aren't rusted to bits.

It's all your call. If you can get him down to around $200 (or as your budget allows, and depending on the shape of the playfield/glass)... I'd get it. It's a weird game... not as rare as some, but not nearly as common as most... but still fun as hell (IMHO)... so it's all your call.

Got mine non working for 170, just needed belts, cleaned. Just replaced the motors as they were noisy is all, but well worth it, it gets played a lot at my place. $400 seems high, but if the glass, side art, cab and CPO-hardware is good, its probably worth it.

Yeah, i agree with the others $400 is 2x too much. $200 sounds right. I have one buried in storage i`ll bring out & service some day. I have`nt seen one local(except mine) until the other day. A neighbor about 3 blocks away has one in his garage. I would think that Zeke`s Peak would be more rare than ICB.

I bought mine for $150 fully working.
If you get it I have a replacment ball and motors. I should have replacment drive belts in stock soon as well. If you need any help getting it fixed...well you know where I live.

I have an extra ICB I will be selling soon. I'm not sure how nice of condition your looking to get, but I think with these you might want to grab whatever you can since these dont pop up very often.

Yeah, they seem to be getting a little more popular, so... I'd grab everything you can WHILE you can. I'm looking for a back-up board as well. If something goes wrong with them and you can't repair it yourself, you might have a little trouble finding someone to work on them as they'll probably have to have something to test them in... doesn't exactly work on a standard JAMMA test rig, unless you really want to make a crazy adapter.
