It started today... I was searching eBay looking for anything interesting.
I came across this PCB board and didn't know what it was:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ARCADE-GAME-BOARD-MODEL-1902-GAME-NO-1369-1-/280537566217
(a Pong clone?)
Then I was thinking how nice it might be to have a tool to try and identify, say...that random early Exidy board. Or to simply view the styles of one manufacturer vs. another or over time.
This site has a decent number of PCB images tied to records but (previously) no way to sort them.
So I wrote a little module tonight that shows you a photo box of PCB images which you can filter by manufacturer or by year. Click on a image to see a larger version of it.
Let me know if these modules are the kind of thing you find useful or not...
Maybe someday we can have add # of chips on a board to the database and then if you have a random old TTL board with say 63 ICs on it, you can search for just the boards that match. But then again.how often do you find unidentified boards...
You must be logged in (forum login should suffice) or the page will boot you...

Now we just need a lot more PCB images...
