The IAM/KLOV Games DB now has tens of thousands of auction results. A special thanks to our inaugural auction partners: Morphy Auctions and Captains Auction Warehouse. Thank you both for your support!
We've been working with them for the last 2 months. Then on May 6th, we opened a limited BETA program to $50+ donors to the library. Now today:
* We've expanded the ability to see auction results to all logged in members:
For example, see the very bottom of the page for Class of 1981: Ms. Pac-Man / Galaga:
https://www.arcade-museum.com/game_detail.php?game_id=8784
Note: The columns can be clicked on to sort them... Hold down shift after the first column to sort by a second.
* Additionally, logged in members can access an tens of thousands of auction records here:
[Update: The auction results are appearing in the game listings right now. However, I've temporarily turned off the ability for members to search auction results and to link auction results to game records temporarily. We've been struggling with a tech challenge for a while regarding our implementation of these new features, and I think I just thought of a new way to deal to structure everything. It will likely take a week or two to implement however. ]
Also on that page, members can tag individual auction results to KLOV/IAM records. Once they do, the record becomes live, and the auction result appears on the game record...
That really helps the database for all, and also, you get volunteer points for the match. Volunteer points is something that will likely get revived this summer. In the meantime, you can see how many people have done on this page: https://www.arcade-museum.com/members/statistics/top-voters.php
The 'Auctions' page has also been updated. The list of current eBay auctions has been demoted down one level. It's its place, is a page that links to a number of our auction services. It also shows the Top 20 Coin-Op Auctions that are linked to our game records, and the Top 20 Coin-Op Video Game Auctions that are linked to our game records.

This is still a work in progress. Members in the $50+ donor program continue to be able to see some new features first. Currently they can search some additional listings that members have already matched to game records (all members can see these records by going to the game page).
