I had a guy come by today with an Aztec.First he only could get the back open the part with the glass,he told me it got stuck the day before and maybe I would know how to open it,he asked if I could sledge hammer it open and I said im not doing that, then he wanted to fit it through the glass, that didn't work,so he said he going to swap vehicles with his wife,so he left and came back with a Suv which fit until it got to the middle row of seats, and I had to figure out how to take them out.I dont think $30 for a empty Lethal Enforcers was worth the trouble since he told he going to put a playstation in it.

Nah. A minivan is where it's at. Pickup trucks are fine unless it rains. The minivan is great year round, in any weather. You can fit a ton of stuff in one with the seats out. And, when you're not hauling stuff, you can actually have more than one passenger.

By and large, I find a minivan to be a *far* more useful vehicle all around than either a pickup truck or SUV.

I dunno man.... taking a sledge to an Aztek might be kinda fun.

wagons are cooler than minivans.

Should've brough Blanka along and beat the crap outta the car until the door popped off.

Ya can't put three machines at once in a mini van, though. ;)

Really? I fit 3 pinball machines, 3 large boxes of pin parts, a 20 gallon cooler and 2 hiking backpacks full of clothes in my van. I probably could have stuck a cocktail ontop of the pins too...

I love it compared to a pickup. Open the side door and slide a machine right in. No tarps required if it's raining or snowing.

Pics or it didnt happen! :)

astro van is the best imo

I had a chevy astro van. with the back seats out, I could haul two uprights side by side (beteween the wheel wells) I would lay them on their backs.

doors would close and off you go. rain or shine.

Not as nice as a sprinter, but way less money.

pickup is good to hall some games, but if it rains your in trouble.

I have pics of the trip, over the course of 2-1/2 days and over 2000km, and almost $300 in fuel...but no pics of my load, the scenery on the last half of my drive was for taking pictures.

I had a Williams Baracorra(With 2 boxes of parts), a Stern Catacomb and a Williams Jungle Lord in there on the way out,and a Bally Fireball Classic and Chicago Coin Sound Stage on the way back.

None of the collectors those machines were for are members here AFAIK though.

Well you are talking about a "van". RetroHacker was talking about a minivan. Little bit of a difference.

I would suggest a Chevy Avalanche, the Swiss Army knife of the truck world.

Mine has hauled every game I own. In fact because it's my daily driver I can impulse buy at any time. A nice feature in this hobby. :)

Theres a thread somewhere on here where someone literrally stuffed a Toyota mini van. Even went so far as to take the front passenger seat out to make room for a cocktail.

Stuffing small cars is fun. I miss my little Saturn wonder wagon.

I use a Previa. It hold one game Nicely and that keeps a nice cap on my game collecting LOL.
I had a freind who made me a deal on a Use 17 foot Uhaul truck. I had another friend who had cheap storage 8 cents a square foot. it only took me 1 month to fill to the ceiling a 10,000 squarefoot place. 2 months to process it out.

So you will understand why I like my Little previa.. Laughs.

Stuff always expands to fill an empty space. If you don't keep turning it and moving it. You will soon find yourself drowning in it.

3 games in my Dodge Grand Caravan (minivan) is actually pretty common. You slide one game through the slider door, leaving the top hanging out one side (or open both doors and have the top and bottom sticking out), then have two games side by side hanging out the back (with the hatch tied down).

I may have some pics, but it's become a pretty common occurrence that I don't even think twice about it. Of course a pickup truck can haul 6 games, or one REALLY big game.

I miss my old 3 and 5 door saabs...

Anyways, when someone picked up the Mortal Kombat II cab, it sunk their minivan so low that it burnt the grass in the front lawn.

I think that they might have had a leak in the exhaust though.

Vans can carry more than two people, yes...
Vans can carry two games... okay

But trucks can carry more games and often as many people. Mine can carry 6 uprights comfortable, 8 if needed, and 6 people in the cab. If it rains...that's what tarps and pallet wrap are for. Pretty simple.

I will never understand those that get the double-cab truck with the dinky size half truck bed. You can't even put a full sheet of plywood in it. My bro-in-law just got a toyota double cab with the (wtf) bed.... the truck bed is "awww how cute" but does nothing to actually represent or offer utility.

Also will never get what the designers were going for when they thought of the Chevy Avalanche. Good God what a crappy looking truck...thing. What the hell is all that plastic and the faux roll bar thing in the back. Pure of waste of resources...and ugly to boot. Not to derail the thread but it makes as much sense as the fugly "Cube". WHY!?!?!? You mean people actually got paid to design that abortion...and people pay to drive that?!

I've gotta agree with everything you just said.
