I wish i had my Neo Geo, i stupidity listen to my spouse and sold it

The only reason I'm letting mine go is to move into Candy cab format for my multi systems. If I can find an actual NEO-GEO candy even better.

I don't blame you. I was aiming to do something similar, parting ways with my two slot, getting a more generic cabinet for conversions and getting a neo Geo one-slot board that i can throw in there but I still couldn't part with my neo Geo two slot.

The title says it. I regret a little bit selling my machine I know it went to a good home, and the guy finished off some of the final touches that I couldn't, but I miss my Neo Geo machine. I got it out of the ghetto and I did everything to bring that puppy back I mean I still have some of the games but no fun playing on a consoleized one slot. What are some other games that people regret letting go?
I feel ya. The Neo Geo is a great cab with lots of great titles. Beautiful graphics to gawk at. I would regret letting mine go for sure. Hell, I'll probably feel your pain in a few months when I have to let go of some games due to a move to San Francisco.

Hopefully you can get another at some point? The good news is they do come up for sale pretty often. It's not like it's a super rare cab or anything.

Neo geo comes in many flavors. Personally I have a tall boy. Seen neo geo in candy cabs. Seen small mini ones were expensive. I wonder which one you had?

There's a 'cute' for sale by me, beautiful little cab, looks to be in great shape but I dont want to drop $3.5k on something made for ants.

Any reason you can't get another? They are fairly common.
I mean I could pick up another, of course I'm tight on space but the thing is I put my heart and soul in that machine when no one else would some people looked at it like it was firewood. Nowadays people would restore it but a few years ago they were only looking for better looking machines and cheap prices

NEO-GEO always looks like shit unless you clean them up really tight. It was never meant to be a visually appealing piece, it's very utilitarian. But when you spruce them up (I recommend white t-mold) they can hold their own in the lineup.

I've bought and sold a Neo Geo maybe 4 times now? Thankfully, they are pretty common. I have my 4-slot that I tell myself I won't sell ever again.

My biggest regrets are selling my restored Vs. The Goonies, my red tent w/ extra boards and a Taito cabinet multi for pennies on the dollar before the crazy pandemic prices hit.

I have my Darksoft multi coming in for my Deco cassette cab that came out 10 years before Neo Geo even appeared. That is also an ugly beauty and arguably the first ever multi system.

Regret selling my Ladybug wallcab.
Was a fun little cab for on a wall.
Made for Germany, bit like the wall mounting gambling machines they have there.
*pics needed* that sounds really cool.
