The door going down into my arcade does not match the arcade. Not like Phet's $250 solid oak doors do! The woodgrain looks like hell so I painted it gloss black and the knob orange. Here is a couple pics as you would see it walking up out of the arcade. The yield sign is actually on the ceiling above the door, and is reflecting down. I have plans to add some cool stuff to go with that yield sign; which I got for $5 at a garage sale. More on that later...

WOW! That is ALOT of red.

Has your wife seen that yet?

You just may be painting again.

She was skeptical at first with my arcade color choices, but hey, I know what I'm doing. Here's a couple of pics in case you haven't seen our arcade.

WOW talk about a total 80's throw back! Even loved the creep show poster in your room!

P.S. Did "TG" send you that certificate of your Gorf record on the wall, or was that a home made deal?

cheers

We need a BEFORE pic to fully appreciate it!

Dude, looks great, NICE Seawolf! got one waiting on me in the garage when I get home! :)

What's up with putting stuff under all the games? Afraid of ruining the floor? Do the games slide around setup like that?

Just my opinion, but that's a little too much red. You should break it up a little, perhaps with a different color wall, or retro looking stripes would be cool.

looks like Inari Temple in Kytoto

It looks a little more bold in the pics then when you actually see it in person. I put the plywood stands underneath with carpet sliders so I can slide those games around without having to put them on a dolly; and also they saved my games from water damage when it flooded down there in aug of 2007. It was only maybe 1/4 inch of water, but it was all over and moving too quickly for me to keep up with a squeegie. Even that epoxy floor as tough as it is will scratch, so I try to keep it in nice shape; those foot levelers are hell on ANY floor.

TG sent me an official certificate; but the Hall of Fame Medallion you see hanging there(same as my avatar) is just a homemade computer printout.

The inside looks good. It's just that hallway that is um, very red. But hey, it's your game room and as long as you like it, then that's what matters.

Yeah, like I said the flash of the camera kind of makes it look overdone. But with just the bar lights, and even the regular 60 watt bulbs on down there its toned down and looks very comfortable yet bold like I like it. Thanks for the comments everyone. Just trying to have fun with it all...
