I'm going to be there for a conference at
Bell Harbor Conference Center
2211 Alaskan Way, Pier 66
Seattle, WA 98121

Is there any pinball close by? Or at the airport?
Thanks!

Shorty's isn't too far away. The Seattle Pinball Museum isn't that far either. Both would be fairly short cab rides. I don't know of anything by the airport. - Barry

There are two machines at the waterfront arcade. It is on one of the other piers, I think 54? It is well marked. I was there a little over a month ago and the pins were Tron and Transformers, I think.

If you stop by Shorty's or the Pinball Museum you should be able to find a copy of 'Skillshot'. That is a little magazine published locally. If you open it it will have a pretty complete list of pinball machines grouped by location and I think it even has addresses for the locations.

When will you be in town? I may be able to get you access to some privately owned machines as well. Send me a pm.

going to check this out at the end of the month.
thank you for the links

I went to Shorty's last night and it was GREAT! Shortydog.com has a semi-correct list of games, but there's no baby pac (which is fine).

The pins I can remember are MM (which had a dead troll, but otherwise played very well!), Monster Bash, TOTAN, Tron, IJ (WMS), Champion Pub, AC/DC, Transformers, AF, Family Guy, Batman, Eleckra, and a rare one, Granny and the Gators!!
I know I'm forgetting 5 or so including the pinbot sequel next door.

Overall, the games played well with the Sterns obviously being a bit newer and cleaner. Most games were 75c/play which is fine with me, and 4 plays for $2, which I thought was great. AND they had deals for $5!! I didn't have enough time to take advantage of that, but I would if I lived here.

For some reason TOTAN was only 50c/play. :)

It was wed night at 10pm and there were probably 10 people playing at any given moment. So, it was the right number of people activity to have some excitement noise in a game room, but I only had to wait for MM to play it and that was the only game that someone waited for me to finish. (She waited by playing Monster Bash.) Oh, and the players were about 60/40 men/women, which is also nice.

overall, Shorty's is great!

I went back one more time and realized that I had forgotten AFM, Centaur, Speak Easy, and Surf Champ.

17 pins in all, and about 6 vids, but nothing I wanted to play (multi-missile command, guitar hero,...).

I'm in Seattle this week and we were all on tap to visit Shorty's. then realized it's a 21 and over place.

Hoping the pinball museum is all ages as I want to let the kids experience the fun.

Seattle Pinball Museum is definitely all-ages. So is Full Tilt Ice Cream in Ballard, which has I think 12 pins now. If you pick up a copy of Skill Shot zine or go to their website, they list all the pinball machines and locations in the Seattle area.
