I want an Indiana Jones (Williams) for my next pin!

These machines are so pricey though! I played one once at an auction... it was selling with a buy it now for $2200.00 and it was in good shape... What is the going rate for this machine between collectors?

Has anyone played the newer Stern version? I've heard it isn't so good.

Funny you say that...That's also my next pin purchase this year. $2200 seems kind of cheap for a good conditon one. I would say that for a real nice/immaculate one you going to pay 3k+. For me its worth dropping the extra coin for one!

As far as the Stern one....My main beef is you just keep shooting the same shot hundreds of times, definitely is repetitive!!!!! Ark multiball is cool though! I will get one cause I'm a huge Indiana Jones fan but for the price their still going for I'll wait.

Its one of those pins that is up there in terms of popularity... I'm just going to have to start putting quarters in the piggy bank... and hope for the best! I've only 2 pins right now... I think I would even consider trading my Star Wars upright towards this pin if I got desperate enough ;)

I'm a huge Indy fan as well... (ahem except Crystal Skulls... sorry but Lucas has lost his skill...)

Honestly....Crystal Skull wasn't really in the new Stern too much besides one ramp shot and I believe some animations but that is about it......

Wow, at $2,200 I would have grabbed it up immediately.

I have a really nice one, and I wouldn't let it go for less than $3,500 at this point. It's a fun game, and it's a gorgeous machine.

It was my first auction... I had no money and didn't know what the hell I was doing...

I passed one up over a year ago, and have yet to be able to find another for sale in my area since. I too would love one, and if the oportunity arrises again, I would not hesitate to pay $3000+ if in good condition. Would not go over $3500 for any pin, thats just my upper limit. (so its unlikely I will ever own a Monster Bash or Cirquis Voltare that I'd like to have too)

I passed on an Indy for $2500 - there was playfield wear w/ bad paint touchups, insert wear, cabinet fade, some technical issues....I would have done it for $1500 ...but for $2500 I'd want it to be in better shape.

The Stern one blows. Play it at an arcade to see the ark - that's cool....other than that, BORING.

The Williams IJ is a great game. I passed on one two years ago that had a couple of minor issues. Then I waited two more years for another one to come up for sale in my area. Good thing I jumped quick or I would have missed that one too.
You can pick up one quickly on Ebay or Mr Pin if you are not too concerned with the price , however if you are looking for a deal, it might take a little time.

I had an IJ about 3 years ago and it was great! Wish I never sold it. If you want a nice one $3500 seems about right. IJ's are famous for their cabinets being really faded. If you don't mind the fade you can definitely get one cheaper, but I would would spend the extra money to get a nice one unless you're good at putting on new decals or you're just not pickey. My only beef with IJ is I wished it had a better light show, but the game itself is great! Good luck on your search!
