I wanna teach this guy a lesson...........

Reminds me of my freinds' GPS on their phone. We were trying to get to a Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner on Saturday and the directions put us in the middle of some subdivision!

Maybe your friend's GPS did you a favor! I went to Buffalo Wild Wings for the first time a few weeks back and was majorly disappointed. I'd heard great things about them, and instead ended up with wings that were equal to WingStreet at Pizza Hut...except for the fact that they cost a helluva lot more.

Good service, great place to watch football, but the consensus was that everyone's food was a notch below average...

The second link you posted from google is where I ended up

Yeah you can't trust GPS or Google Maps, according to my mothers GPS I live about 1/2km away from where I actually do...on part of this street that doesn't even exist.
Google maps says I live across the street and 8 houses down, and the street name is even wrong on the map...

Holy shit, remind me never to try to sell a game on here. I've never seen such a bunch of pissed off guys just because they didn't get a deal they'd hoped for.

I wouldn't recommend a new eBay ID to mess with him. That just has the potential to get you in trouble.

Just drop it, forget about it. He obviously doesen't want your money, so why would you want to give it to him?

I do agree

eBay will need a working email to register the account, so they will trace you.

Forget it.

He has problems this guy

When BW3 first started off in Ohio they were the place for wings. Besides being great for games and such the food really was good. They expanded as fast as they could when they got popular and in my opinion really started to slide in the late 90's early 00's. The ones that have opened by me in FL the food is really bad for the price you pay.

Once again a great place ruined by greed and corporate attitude.

BW3 is short for Buffalo Wild Wings?

Wouldn't BW2 be more precise? Hell- since you're not saving any characters (as in W3), why not just BWW?

Why? Why must life be so hard?

OK- I read the stupid wikipedia page- Weck- how about WTF? That's not even the company name anymore-

how about & Wenchlike Waitresses?

wait- that would be BW4

how about B33 - see? the 3's look like little sideways W's. l33t d00dz

Really? You're mad the guy got called into work, and his priorities are obviously a little better than yours?
You skip out of school to go get a game, and he winds up getting called into work?

Shit happens, RL happens and I would certainly go into work in that situation too. Not much you can do if it happens right before you're supposed to show up, at least he even bothered to text you.

Some of you guys on here really need to grow up and get your priorities straight and realize how real life works.

Maybe you would not be upset after having gone thru the trouble of getting everything together and then driving an hour to only get told that he was not going to be there. I fully understand if he really got called into work. How do we know he actually got called into work? He probably sold the machine to someone else.

What I was upset about is that he told me he would call me that night or the next day and never did. He should have followed thru with the transaction.

Maybe you like to be screwed but I don't.

You are missing the point I was trying to make. I told the OP to let it go just as I did. I did not come on hear immediately when it happened to cry about it. I was just sharing my experience. My priorities are in order as I work full time and go to school full time.

Maybe you need to grow up...

Burn his effing house down. To hell with letting him off the hook. Just wait about a year or two. Revenge is a dish best served cold.

Obviously joking guys. I was going to end it with a "haha" (I don't do LOL's), but decided to hold off for awhile. Seriously though, it does suck when someone wastes your time like that.

Obviously? I didn't see anything in the original comment that made it an obvious joke. And, for how people are these days, it could very well have not been a joke. When it's simple, written text on the Internet, no one can see a facial expression or the tone of a voice, so no one can tell if it's a joke or not.

I get to the so called destination and there's nothing there but trees and a railroad track.
You trusted your GPS? Hahahaha!!!

Come on, those things aren't gospel!

Are you one of "those" people that would follow the instructions of a GPS if it told you to turn into a field? or off a cliff? or into a brick wall? If you are, then I'm sorry for the "Hahahaha!!!" remark.

Sorry you had such trouble.

Just last week there was a CL ad for a Daytona USA for $200 15 min from where I work. Answered the ad....nothing. The ad referenced an E-Bay auction, which there was. So I bid on that. 20 min left in the auction, all the bids get cancelled (reason: Item sold), and all of a sudden there's a winner on the auction with a $200 BIN which was not there previously, and a winner with ZERO feedback. Never did get a response from the CL posting. It was extremely shady and really pissed me off, especially since we were in the running to win the auction.

Sure, sometimes people are craptastic. I learn that I never need to deal with those people again. Instead of being upset, just chalk it up to life, and hope that this is the only bad experience you have for a long time. Life is too short to be pissed off about this.

Just my thoughts.

You think he did a buy back on his own game? Sure sounds like it.

Yes the internet post has a major flaw in so far as you can't see context. But seriously? Burn his effing house down is a serious plan? You really thought I meant that as a valid course of action in this matter?

Who knows? People have done things like that. It's not that far-fetched in this society these days! :)

I guess I'm still adjusting to this whole internet thing. Before I joined this forum at the beginning of this year I had never posted online. I've never had a myspace or facebook account. This here is it. I don't have time for any other groups. In real life I can say that I'm not a fan of the pinball 2000 pins (they suck) with no problems, but here I get all sorts of hell for saying so.

Lol= hahaha
