While this is a Craig's List listing, I believe that this thread belongs in General because no one on these olde forums would ever buy this. This is purely for fun! :D

This is a custom built (one of a kind) John Deere themed M.A.M.E. arcade machine. It plays thousands of original arcade games. It has a 27 Inch screen, 2.1 Speaker System, Powered by IBM brand CPU. Custom built 2 player control panel w/ lit translucent track ball. I have another bezel for it if John Deere is not your thing! It was built for $2400 and yours for $1200 or best offer. Makes a great addition to your home bar or arcade. Call Alan (207) 441-1297

It's done better than 85.2% of MAME cabs I have seen. Hokey theme but the execution is good. 8/10.

Which is more amazing? that he made a John Deere mame cab or that he spent $2400 to build it? I'm pretty sure there are solid gold parts on that thing somewhere...

Not even close. But the Space Duel display cabinet is in the same league.

I'd tap that.

Anyone who loves John Deere that much probably credits the company with helping to remove their extra fingers and toes.

I've got to give credit where credit is due - he did a heck of a nice job on it. The CP layout is even quite sensible, for a MAME box. Only 2 sticks and only 1 tb makes it quite usable (unlike some of the atrocities we see here).

I'm not into the theme and the only way I can figure he spent $2400 is if he's got way more computer than he needs in there, AND he paid someone to build the cab.

But at least it's a well constructed system, not a 10-minute hack job with joysticks at funny angles.

Okay, I'm a n00b and have yet to see a picture of this super famous Star Wars chair...... please someone let me see this piece of modern art!!!

Search for it on ebay and then post a new thread here. Make sure to include pictures.

Have you ever been to small town midwest... People are dedicated to the brand of Tractor; Find a farmer that runs a deer and likes video games and it'll bring a premium.

To me the theme is pretty hokey too. I'll bet it sells. Some farmer will land that baby in his workshed.
