I Think My Son Will Actually Carry On My Arcade Legacy

That's cool Phet. My daughter, who will be two next month, loves going to the gameroom. She likes the lights and sounds...and the Jiffy Pop! She also likes putting tokens in the slots and I tried to show her how to push the flippers on the pinball machine. A little later she sat down at the Ms. Pac cocktail and was feeling around for the flipper buttons!

My son (15) is not interested in the game room, rather spend 20hrs a day on the Xbox 360.
BUT, my 8 yo daughter LOVES the game room and loves playing games with me.

I hope she take it on, I'd be VERY proud of her

I absolutely love it when the kids can have quality time with their parents. Mine are 10 and 7 and they still think I'm cool. My 10 year old love to go down and play the games. Mostly Joust 2 and Rampage. I know my 10 year old will get my games when I pass on. Here's proof! She's soldering caps on a gyruss board that had a sound issue. "What technique!"

My 5 year old daughter loves my garage arcade. When she has friends over, she tells them "Would you like to see my arcade? My daddy keeps it all nice!"

I even have a Speed Buggy that I gave to her, and when she's driving she'll say "Arcade girl on the road, watch out people!!!"

That's what I thought at first too, but it originally was a Galaxian.
