I Think I Killed My Punch Out Iso/ Is It Possible To Use One From Slalom

I have 30-40 guests coming over for my annual Easter BBQ on Sunday, it's always a mad dash to get games back together and bullet proof.

I was putting my Punch Out back together and plugged in the Iso to dial in the Switching PS and hit a hiccup. I plugged it in and got a little grinding noise, and before I could flip it off, it was dead.

The fuse is good. If I follow the line in the AC it enters via cord goes to the screw terminals, exits there, goes into the Iso and then out the other side to the AC outputs for PC, monitor and lights.

The AC is coming in readings are 122, hits the terminals and I get a 122 reading across them, goes into the Iso never to return again. All of the terminals for the AC output have nothing. I am guessing it is dead.

I have a spare PO Iso here that even after a night of heavy drinking would only look like a 4. It is rusted beyond belief, I plugged that in and got a little hum, but the readings were solid. I am not sure if it is worth risking my monitors and stuff using it.

I also have an Iso from a Slalom here that I could possibly remove and wire in. I just wasn't sure if it's ok to use. If the rating are the same or not.

I also wasn't sure if it's ok that I am getting a hum with the second PO Iso. I guess in theory I could take that apart and try to salvage what isn't rusted on that.

Any input would be greatly appreciated. I am a little freaked out at the thought that I just smoked one of these.

Slalom is a standard Nintendo Iso. I wasn't sure if the second monitor required a diff size iso.

I still can't wrap my head around what happened. These things never go. I don't see anything else down the line that could have failed. .

I'm also concerned about the hum in the second one. It's just straight forward AC wiring, so I doubt it was the new plug that I installed.
