The whole reason I bought this cab was to convert it to a professor pac.
Anybody with any parts for this project hit me up!!!! I would greatly appreciate any help.

See pics, I plugged up an extra Galaga board just to test all the other components in the cab.( galaga and pacland are same pinout)
Monitor, harness, and power supply all seem jam up.... Enjoy!!!!!

(update I now have a boardset..)

:D I contacted that seller and tried to be very nice about what the true value of that cab was ....Even knowing that it wasn't worth 200 bucks I told him I'd be happy to give him 200 for it..knowing it wasn't going to bring squat on ebay in that condition....well he acts like he is good with that deal but will leaves it up for auction even though it didn't get a sniff because he had reserve way over priced...so I let it go as I didn't have time to be around to bid at the end and not for his reserve...then when the auction ends he gets shitty cause I didn't bid...so we go back and forth and after seeing what an asshole he was I just laugh and move on.

Fast forward...he had told me he was trashing it just so I couldn't get it...as if I would die if I didn't have a black painted pac-land cab when I already have two now in minty condition and have sold two others previously..I just wanted for parts to begin with...so to no surprise I see it listed again...and to no surprise it doesn't even get a bid...and then finally when he lowered the reserve he sells for 76 bucks...I'm almost tempted to send one final message to this idiot...

but truly I'm glad you got it knowing your trying to piece together a professor Pac ...just had to post my experience with this guy....

Sometimes you have to realize that not everyone is trying to screw you over as this guy believed I was apparently trying to do by offering him 200 bucks...Being a greedy bastard will bite you in the ass sometimes..I was trying to help the guy and give him a few extra bucks knowing he this was way overpriced to start but his greed cost him...what a tool!

Having said that...I have extra professor Pac Parts...perhaps a deal could be struck but that cab looks rougher than I thought so I'm not sure it would be worth it to me...perhaps I'll have to see what parts are still there that I can use....like the black bezel...maybe the control panel ....PM and we'll talk

Converting a crappy Pac game to an uber crappy (but rare) Pac trivia game?

Only on KLOV lol. :D

Ah, but when you have a pretty complete Pacman collection, as Matt does, you need the missing machines to finish it.

Yeah I know it's a Pac completionist thing. Personally I don't get it though, when a game sucks it sucks, don't see much point in wasting the floor space. Even the L@@K @ ME / bragging rights value on such a game seems pretty low. Most die hard collectors would just say "oh, you have a Professor Pac," and walk right past in favor of playing something fun. Casuals would probably give it the ol' implied facepalm look lol. :p

That control panel *looks* pretty nice on that one. Is there any sideart underneath the paint?

Good luck on the Pro. Pac project. (I can only imagine how impossible parts are hard to come by for it.) Wondering how many of these met the fate of the dumpster.

That's just a cheap thin black vinyl...peels right off. Inside of cab is spotless. I think its serial number is 716. I'm pretty sure my pacland is number 667.
I'm sure parts are hard to find but that's half the fun.

[I watched this sit the first time as well with no bids... I'm glad you really didn't need this and I'm also glad you understand me wanting to put together a professor pacman....I realize 95% of collectors could care less about this title.
I worked for Namco for 12 years and started buying classics in 1995. I never knew half of these games existed. I saw them throw most of the cool stuff in the dumpster. They only wanted to keep Ms Pac man and Galaga's.....
I'll be in touch and thanks in advance for your help ...any parts I don't need are yours( I also have extra pacman parts, super pacman boards, and an extra galaga boardset just laying around..)

Collecting isn't always about playing a game. Sometimes its about what you have. Although crappy, Professor Pac-Man is unique. Having said that, collecting is often just about uniqueness. Yes, it is ok to "collect" something and not use it. Collectors of many different things have them just for asthetic purposes. Yes, yes, a game is meant to be played but is it wrong to just admire it for what it is (be it good or crappy)? Hell, some things are even admired just for their sheer crappiness (cheezy movies, pictures of dogs playing poker, and many MAME cabinets for example). So, if people want a Professor Pac-Man just to look at it, who the hell are we to tell them we don't approve?

I have only ever seen one Professor Pac. Unfortunately, it had been converted to Pac-Land. The side art and lower marquee were intact and in great condition. The marquee was Pacland and there was no CPO. Pretty decent machine as I recall. Roadrunner is familiar with this machine (I think I was known as scoreone or scoreonegames at the time). You don't still have this, do you? If so I would love to see pics.

if anybody wants to make me a fair offer on this I will sell it...only needs a working pacland board to be fully operational. Will need sides painted or vinyl applied.. I don't have time to hunt down parts to do what I wanted..

Look at meeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!

[I really just don't get you! Its pretty bad when Jr pac adds an honest legit reply to the thread and your reply's are just plain out there. A true waste of your time to reply and an enormous waste of mine even acknowledging that you did.

Get a life already!

Agreed!!! Its funny too that he says his arcade is better than yours and if you look at his titles the whole mix just about equals my Journey !! LMAO

Why do you such a hard time with the quotes? Its not hard.

Journey sucks, Its purely a look at me game. The gameplay is about as fun as sticking your hand in a blender.

Oh, and you mad bro?
