I know its not as massive of a score as some have had but man I couldn't find it anywhere and if someone had it they weren't giving it up. I paid 142 but it was well worth the money!

Yeah it was pretty difficult to get my hands on. I only came across 2 people who had it, its not the rarest but I think its in the top five rarest. I can't wait for it to come in, now I need Powerblade, Ninja Gaiden 2 and maybe TMNT II!

Mega Man 3 is in my top 5 for wanted Playchoice games... along with Metroid... And a few more I can't think of off the top of my head.

Nice score!

Congrats. I'll be putting mine up for auction on eBay this Sunday. I hope it'll pull close to what you paid.

The playchoice collector's market has definitely changed over the past few years. When I first got my playchoice in 2007, I could barely sell a volleyball for $20 - it was like I was trying to offload wrestling or golf. Also, I'm almost certain that about 2 years ago I sold a Megaman 3 for $30. Now there's crazy bidding wars going on. I won't even tell how much someone offered me for powerblade. (!)

Really makes me wish I had kept my first Playchoice. I don't remember all the games that were on it, but it was at least full. oh well...

I can't imagine MegaMan 3 going for 30 bucks! That game was so hard to get my hands on I feel like I need to buy yours too! ;) Megaman is definitely my favorite of the NES era so this game was top priority.

Haha yeah that's me alright. The seller was really cool and he told me he had it so I was gonna spend whatever I needed to.

Be a little weary of that guy on ebay. If the numbers add up he had 14 T&F for sale and numerous amounts of other carts for sale BIN. Right now he has 2 rad racers, 5 guantlets, 2 DD, 7 SMB, 10 SMB3, 3 NG, 4 1942, 3 Gradius etc etc. This is current amounts available and doesnt include numbers from starting auction that have since been sold. I just thought that was a little weird. And hes in the UK meaning a 14-30 day shipping window.

Thanks for the heads up but I'm not concerned, the guy has been really quick about responding and we did everything through Ebay. The game was shipped this morning so now its just the wait till that bad buy is in my hands!

After seeing Douchka's comment I was nervous. I took the risk, and bought Dr. Mario off the guy outside ebay. I messaged him a couple times after I sent the money but he didn't reply at all. Not even to tell me it shipped...

Came in the mail today though, and works great!

The crappy thing is I was already resigned to never getting it, and found another Dr. Mario on Ebay. I'm the proud owner of two of them now. Maybe I'll see if someone wantsto trade me for some other game.

Anyway, just wanted to post this, to let you guys know it worked out for me so he does seem to be an honest seller.
