Hello everyone,

Someone mentioned the other day an FPGA was made for running I,Robot. My board was "lost" a few years ago and I need a solution. Can anyone point me it the right direction?

Thanks
Brian

@ArcadeJason built an emulator PCB for it. It's not a FPGA, but it's as close as it gets outside of that.

Plugs into an original cabinet with no mods.

it is the only irobot emulation to date that supports half pixels and is doing so while matching the og pixel clock and frequencies . but its still a work in progress due to an occasional reset after maybe an hour of game play

Is the reset issue going to be solved with a software update? I assume so.

If / when it is available, I would be interested in one...even thrilled in its current form.

I had a roached cabinet, and built a new one. My board set , harness and power supply was sent out for repair, but the individual i sent it to was only a middle man and passed away...and the board set was lost. I have been running a PC for a few years now..... But need to move to something better. Can't justify the cost for a replacement board and guts at the moment.

Please keep us posted.

Thank you
Brian

I wonder who past away and what repair guy still has your board.
I bet it sitting on a bench waiting for someone to pick it up or sitting in a box waiting to be repaired still laughs.

This sucks of course, and why you should have your own website for a catalog of projects, both WIP stuff and things finished.
i don't post things on klov as often due to the 2 people who always trash my threads whenever i sell something .
It would be awesome to see the result of that linked to your YouTube channel and then at least one other person to help with in-house fabrication and production.
