My dad had this centipede cabinet and this soda machine in his mechanic shop in the 80s and 90s. I use to dust shelves for quarters so i could play centipede and get ice cold grape soda.

My friends have this same vintage Pepsi machine (maybe a little newer) and they tried the beer thing. Doesn't work. Beer does not like to be shaken up down the pop machine chute. It always just exploded when opened and came out foamy. Very cool you have an attachment to the machine. I've got my uncle Bill's Coke bottle machine from the 70s. I had it repaired and everything works, but I just have nowhere to put it. It also sucks energy like a refrigerator and I've already got four of those in the house.Great choices! I'd have to fill it with beer too. Dont drink too many sweet sodas these days. I've thought of getting one of the old glass bottle coke machines and filling with beer. Although I do love a Mexican Coke once in a while.
How bad are those things energy bill wise?
What's cool is mine is still set for $.35 so if you Google that price you can find out when my machine was last used in a public setting. This post is inspiring me to just move my machine into the game room and say fuck it you only live once.Nice! I have two old 7up machines from the 60's I think. One takes cans the other bottles.
The bottle one you can put beer in because it's just a straight pull to get it out. The glass soda bottles are cool to put in too but they have gotten so expensive. I don't have room in my arcade though that would take up the space of a game so mine are in the kitchen.
Ill have to get back to you on that.Great choices! I'd have to fill it with beer too. Dont drink too many sweet sodas these days. I've thought of getting one of the old glass bottle coke machines and filling with beer. Although I do love a Mexican Coke once in a while.

I'd pass on that one personally. too newThis is awesome! And even if the beer thing doesn't work, it's still kinda cool. I have access to 20 oz. bottle one for free here at work but like some have already said, they are energy hogs and take up too much room for my space. I don't soda (or pop, or soda-pop) anymore but I could easily fill mine with flavored seltzer waters and the like. Here's the one I have access to:

I always wanted one of these. Eventually gave up as I slowed down on moving games around. A Pepsi of that vintage would be my first choice! My dad had this centipede cabinet and this soda machine in his mechanic shop in the 80s and 90s.
