So after 10 years in the basement of an old building I rescued the Black knight and it is now safe in my garage.I've never played this pin before is it worth keeping? I'll post some pics tomorrow.

The short answer is YES!

Black Knight is a good game. For it's time it was a great game. It sufers a little to comparison to more modern pins, but the shots and flow are classic.
Being a system 7 board set, replace that 40 pin connector, replace the horrible scanbe prom sockets, and update the power supply, it's all listed here:

Fortunately since the BK was very popular, there are lots of replacement parts available. It's a classic game that is a challege to play.

If you get a chance, I'd love a couple photos of the playfield area just behind the drop targets, I'm trying to see what point something changed in the design.

I'm not a big fan of it. I would just shop it out and play it for yourself to decide. It's usually an easy sale for good money if you should decide to sell.

Sorry not to be a Debbie Downer but I agree with the other two guys. The replay value is just not there. Because of the focus and importance of the mini playfield, she's not on my want list.

I picked it up on the cheap and it's in decent shape.I figure I'll shop it out leave it in the garage and see if it's a keeper.I have Paragon and most people seem to think it's a boring pin but I like it(must be my old age).I also have Funhouse and people seem to like that pin but it doesn't do much for me I'd rather play Bop or Fishtales.I think if it's anything like Grand Lizard I may have to keep it for awhile as it seems to be similar.
