I really want a Mrs Pacman Stand up

I assume your $1000 comment was made towards the HUO one in Treasure Island? Dude if they have proof of being one owner then it's HUO and the price tag is well in line.

Secondly it's Ms. Pac-man - it'll help your search foo

Also have you ever heard of NAVL? You're not limited to buying locally.

I'm not sure what you mean. I just got into the hobby totally restored a dk from crap tp minty fresh, and the same with a centipede and now a Super Mario Brothers vs. I love Mrs. Pacman and I found one South Florida CL for 1000, But that's over my budget and I would like something I can bring back to life.

welcome to the board, you should also checkout the Fl. collectors site too you may have some luck there, its a very common game you shouldn't have a hard time finding one, I sold a decent one last year sometime for $250 it went quick

Thanks Mike,so far everyone has been really helpful. What FL site? I go to the village or whatever but it won't let me on the florida collectors site (error comes up). NAVL what is that? One last question.. is $600 a fair price on a Mrs Pac-Man Cocktail.. I really want the stand up ( I like the art).

Try your local Craigs List.

Many are listed here in MI for example for $400 and $600, various Pac, Mrs Pac and baby Pac, many to pick from and various conditions of course.

What I meant is your original post sounds like you are disgruntled and disagree that a machine can be worth that much. That's the way it appeared to me anyway and looking at what state you reside in - well $1000 happens to be the price tag on one HUO (Home Use Only) Ms. Pac-man in your state.
So you weren't looking at that one - ok.
I understand about price, my money tree failed to come up this year ;)
Here is an excellent site I use that is much better than any other previous engine I've used. It's simple and clean. http://craiglook.com It will scan eBay and Craigslist for you. Just keep in mind if you have any desire to have a nice looking machine you better pay for it up front and buy a nicer one because I personally think that's one of the more difficult ones to restore.
Good luck on your search.

Depends on the condition. If you just want a working one, I'm sure you could easily find one for much less than that. Around here, working ones that could use cosmetic work go for $300-$500 on average as of late. If you want a minty Ms. Pac, you're going to spend anywhere from $800-$1100 on average. That's really not that bad, considering what it costs to completely restore one with new side art and whatnot.

not sure what part of Fl. your in but there's a Super Auction in Orlando Sat. June 19th, you might be able to pick up a Ms Pac there
