I just purchased a Donkey Kong cocktail. I played it for a few minutes and It started to get double vision. I adjusted some of the pots and found the H hold to be intermittent. I have sing\ce adjusted the h hold pot to were it no longer responds. I believe this is a fairly common problem as the h hold is on a small pcb with a connector (as so it is easily replaced). The marking on the pcb is VR 362 (H Hold). Does anyone know where I can get a replacement. I live in Central Jersey. Thanks!

I'm not sure what model the monitor is in a DK cocktail (Gary Vincent, care to field this one?), but I've found most pots for the Electrohomes at Radio Shack. You'll need the schematics for your paticular monitor, but they should range from 50 ohms to 2k ohms, depending on which pot you're replacing. I believe the H pot on a G07 is either 200 or 2k. Also, you have to adjust the B+ to 120V. There should be a test pin on the board labeled as B+. Once that is done, adjusting the H pot halfway in between where the screen get funky is the sweet spot. In short, you need the schematics unless Gary knows for sure.

OK... I did some more digging. I believe your monitor is a Sanyo 14". The manual can be found here. There is no VR362 on the schematics. There is a VR352, but the schematics differ from the parts list (30k and 50k respectively).

Now, go here and here.

Donkey Kong pot is the fushizzle.
