Some wood is missing on the side of my cabinet .Like a chunk what should i do and what tools i need.Am new too this remember fellas lol.thank you.

Hahahahaha I hope that was a joke.
Spackle would never hold.
OP please post some pics for proper advice.

They used spackle on the Z-back I bought. They used it to fill holes and repair a damaged corner. It just came out, or fell apart as i was removing the paint covered vinyl...lol.

Yeah Bondo is your friend. I had a Dk Jr that looked the back corner was eaten by a beaver. I completey fixed it. Looks perfect.

+1 on the bondo, depending on the extent of the damage, you need to to consider fabricating an entire new wooden section to graft on as a replacement and finish

Here's a picture of the damage and the wood work i need done.

well. if it was me, I would cut a triangle, deeper into the cab, then make a "filler" part and pin it into the cab with dowl pins or something, and glue the hell outa it, sand and fill smooth and go from there. Just trying to patch that spot would be a rough go.
Or maybe a rectangle cut pin the back and drill pin holes at an angle to pin the top and bottom. drive the pin all the way in and cut it off flush??? then make the side cut so they match. make slot for T-Molding and prep and paint.....

To do it right you need to use the other side as template for missing portion..a good woodworker buddy could be your friend with this one if you want the proper fix...need to cut the piece..use biscuit joints..or something similar..

Those nails use to hold in the t-molding are classic...:D

The area you need to fix is in a terrible spot. When people play the game that's a spot that will get touched a lot. Whether it be someone watching you play and putting there hand there or when moving the game. Whatever patch is done will ultimately break again. If it were my game. I would empty the machine. Take off the damaged side off and cut another to put in its place. Then put it all back together. It looks like it needs a new paint job anyways! Sorry bro wish I had better news for you!
