I need help with my punchout monitors

I'd start by swapping the video inputs from one to the other monitor.
(top becomes bottom and vice versa)

You may have board problems, this will help clarify if it is rather quickly.

If I recall the cables are long enough to just do it right from the chassis's themselves.

I'm assuming you have the Sanyo 20EZ, correct me if wrong.

Circled the connector in green, unless you happen to have the inverter boards then it will be on the end of the board circled in red.

Heres my setup, looks different from yours. The first pic is the top monitor, the second is bottom.

Same monitor/setup I just described.....one of yours has the inverter board, one doesn't.
No biggie, that particular Nintendo game doesn't even need the inverter.

Give me a minute to do up a couple pics......

Ok, see if this helps......

The bundle of multi-colored wires are your Video Input Cables for your monitors.
What you want to do is swap inputs from one monitor to the other.
We're going to unplug the one inverter board and just leave it unplugged from the main chassis for now since it is actually not needed in this application.

So take the one multi-colored bundle from one monitor and plug it into the OTHER monitor directly on the main chassis and vice-versa.

The point of this is that if you have the same image results, but on opposite monitors, then you have a board issue.
(top monitor will be the bottom image, bottom monitor will be the top image)

Thanks allot. I cant believe I can even get the color straight on the bottom monitor, all I get is green.

That's why I want to see if you get the same results on the opposite monitor.....it could be a color PROM issue on the board.
The fact that you have missing colors on one monitor and a scrambled image on the other leads me initially to the board, but we'll know more once we see the results of the image swap.

Hey Kevin, looks like it was a board issue.

Ouch.....
Kinda figured it was a board issue, but wasn't expecting "that".
Gonna take some time to clean up and repair that mess.

Punch-Out boards ain't cheap.....but still cheaper than say a Super Punch-Out.

Looks like a color prom issue on the bottom monitor.

There is a lot of Acid damage on the CPU board. Clean that up ASAP.

Yeah very unfortunate to find that but I specialize in board repairs and restorations so it'll be a breeze,it'll just take awhile. Hopefully this fixes the problem 100%
