I need a Q*Bert marquee!

Dude there is a guy on ebay selling NOS Q'Bert marquee's in bulk or in singles. Case you want it now.

I found that one on ebay earlier. Are you telling me that this is the ONLY marquee on the web? I thought you guys were experts!

I don't claim to be an expert but would like to know from all the "old school arcade gods" why this marquee is so rare. I picked up an empty Q*Bert machine and am trying to make it into a 60-1 multicade. Trying to find parts (Marquee, Cpo, etc.) is a chore.

I fully agree.

Most likely the reasoning is the cabinet soaks up water like a sponge. Unfortunately, most ops just ended up trashing the cabinets (along with the parts).

There was only one place that repro'd the Qbert marquee that I can recall. PhoenixArcade.com

He happens to be out, however, it's always worth a shot to send him an email...

I picked this up from him a while back -

That one is the true Swearing Marquee for Qbert.

If you are throwing in a 60/1, it's going to be a tough time with the joystick rotation too. You might want to try and get another cab. The 60/1 doesn't have Qbert on there....just an opinion.:)

Thanks for the help. I don't even have a control pannel. I have to custom build one to take a switchable 8/4 way joystick, trackball etc. Is this cabinet rare due to the fact that it was so easily water damaged?
