I need the gear in the jaw assembly in Ted in my roadshow. I think its part # 03-8471 if anyone knows where I can find this I would really appreciate it . I need it the multiball will not work without it. For some reasone on mine the teeth broke in a couple of places so it wont move the bulldozer when he is snoring. Thanks guys I hope you can help I play this everyday and need it fixed .Its my only pin !!

Thanks Guys thats what I needed !! Who would think that that gear would be so damn expensive. I bought it from Macro they were cheaper $11 for the gear , $6.50 to ship. Mad amusement wanted $6.50 for the gear and $16 to ship !!! Welcome to pinball repair i guess?

Was going to place an order with marco, but when I logged in the web filter at work blocked it as a gaming site >.< Going to see if I can get that changed like I did with pinrepair.com

this one last week cracked me up

bringing this up again ,The damn gear just broke again!!! I remember someone making or having a metal replacement.Where can i get a metal one or if anyone has one ill buy it . Shout out to a old post bump

I hear that..

I've stopped replacing them cuz they last less than 50 games. I've went through 3 sets..even replaced the motor once thinking there was a problem with it.

Call pinbits and speak with Marvin (or Pam). First quarter of this year Martin had made a replacement gear "out of delrin I believe" and offered a few RGP people the opportunity to try it out. I'm unsure as to why he never started selling them as most people gave it a perfect review?? ? Worth a try

on a side note, I'd bet mine has the original gears in it. While they certainly show some wear I can't imagine why anyone would chew a gear up that fast unless of course the quality of the replacement gear is just that poor. If it were me, I'd call up whom ever I got it from and respectfully file a complaint. This helps them deliver a quality product for future purchasers. My .02

I went through 3 sets if gears. I was searching for the derlin ones I saw a while back. I thought it was pinbits, but did not see it on their site.

I believe the replacement gears you normally get are NOS and some are just brittle. I think the ball sometimes gets crunched by Rudy's mouth when he is being chatty

I agree about the original gears...when I got my FH about 6 months ago they were original (at least they looked like it). I broke the 'motor' gear. Decided to replace the whole set. 20-30 plays later the new jaw gear broke. Put the original Jaw gear back on.

20 plays later the motor gear broke again. Bought another replacement, that last a week yet the original Jaw gear is still fine
