If it's indeed plexi and not just a sticker overlay. I got a new plexi one from someone that might have originated from them. It was very nice....

Yeah not sure if its a sticker , they only want $40 .

I have another question about Defender Marquee light fixtures , mine doesn't have the florescent bulb fixture but instead two regular light bulb sockets , one on each side , was this how Defenders came stock ?

Yes it is plexi and yes it is nice!! Cant remember off hand how thick it is, but its the same thickness as the original!!

Not that I've seen, but people (operators) stuck whatever they had around in these things when the originals broke. No sense spending money...

I put 38 watt bulbs in , you think it might get too hot ? Whoever installed them did a decent job , but I can see light from the Marquee bulbs peaking around the monitor a bit .

out of the 6 Defenders I had this year one of them had the regular light bulb sockets. I kind of liked that one, but they are not original. Just make sure you use low wattage bulb. they ones that were in mine got way to hot.

Thanks , looks like I'm gonna order that one .

You will like it. you will have to remove the old one, cant remember exactly how thick it is. It will seperate from the wood,You should heat it up, I used a blow dryer, and slowly removed. If you dont heat it up it will pull part of the wood off with it. Someone made a post about this last year.
