Can someone confirm this as being dedicated? I am about 100% positive that it is. Is it missing sideart of some kind? I ask because I saw sideart on the cab in the infamous Seinfeld episode lol

Yep, that's dedicated. Not many that were shipped in that woodgrain cabinet came with side art from the factory. In many cases it was offered to ops later.

I thought it only came in a woodgrain cabinet out of the factory. maybe it was a conversion kit as well?

Or maybe that white cab was actually painted white then side art applied.

theres many other games that share the same cabinet,i am sure that moon cresta is one of them.i got same cab in grey laminate, its like the cp/wiring/marquee comes as a kit or something and you can just swap out the game when you like.probably why some have art and some dont.if it had art you would end up having a moon cresta in a cab with frogger art.
:)

If you can read the tag in the top right corner on the back,it should tell you what game it originally shipped as.Mine said frogger.

Dedicated... and the "side art" on the Seinfeld Episode wasn't real side art...

The real side art looks like this:

I might be original. Mine is original - tagged inside and everything - and has a completely different coin door (see pic below). The Carnival next to it is in the same cab as this (and the flyer) Frogger. Most likely the 1980 Carnival cab's were used for the production photo and early 1981 Frogger's, with later Froggers using the different coin door. However, other games like 1981's Pulsar also used the Carnival cab, and this Frogger may have been installed into either of those - either at the factory or later...

the gremli/sega cab i have here in grey laminate has the exact coin door as that one on the right of your pic, although mine was dm (german) will be a while before its completely up and running.
:)

Definitely a cab used for Frogger. As an owner of both styles of cab,I can honestly say I like the cab with the larger coin door, mainly because it's a lot lighter than the other.
