He said someone else was supposed to call him this afternoon about it but since I PROMISED I would actually show up and get it by 10 I could have it. If the other person was someone from here, I'm sorry I beat you to it.
It has been sitting on CL for months now with a steadily dropping price starting at 450.
I just finished returning my buddies van, so now it's time to head home and enter the dungeons once again. It's been a long time since I've played this game.

I feel your pain on that one.Thought I had a bead on a working Ms Pac and Golden Axe for $50 a pop,but I never got a reply from the damned seller,even though I e-mailed shortly after it was listed.

CL has been my friend around here for cheap classic cabs. I have been phoned screened by a few local sellers wanting to make sure I wasn't going to 60/1, part out, or resell quickly on nearly all the low priced games I've gotten.
My wife walked in and first thing she says is "You do realize that it's not '82 anymore, right? How much did this set us back?"
She knows what a good monitor is worth so when I told her the price, she was ok with it. When I told her the hero was named Winky, she laughed her ass off.

Luckily my wife is cool about shit 95% of the time. About the only time she dissaproves is simply because it's the end/beginning of the month and bills are due.
Life is too short and you work for the money also right? There comes a point when you need to tell your significant other to shut the pie hole because if it's not taking food off the table, a roof away from your head or clothes off your back then there's NOTHING wrong with it. We work to enjoy life and this happens to be a part of our lives. You go to work to make more money every day

I wish it were that simple...throw 4 kids from teens all the way down to 9 months into the mix...and more importantly, I really don't have the space currently either...when the space isn't an issue I don't get the looks, but I have pretty much taken over the dining room with my games until we move, then I'm banished to the garage.

I think that's part of the addiction - the giddiness of bringing home a new game. Great feeling!
I get the look daily because I want to grab another game about that often. She trusts me though, so I usually discipline myself because I don't want to screw that up.
