I keep waking up hoping this thread is all a bad dream. Since I finally have to admit that it isn't, I'd like to offer you my deepest condolences. I cannot relate directly to what you are going through, but having three kids myself, I can damn sure imagine what it would be like. Focusing on good memories with your son and supporting each other unconditionally from now on is essential to your family and your mental health. Your son was awesome.

I had one of the worst weeks ive had in a long time this past week, then got on and read this and it puts so many things into perspective its not even funny. Things we think are important are grains of sand compared to something like a child being gone way to soon.
