I like to buy pins

Another couple deals done,

Does anyone have a Cyclone they are looking to offload? Maybe one of my Tron guys who want a discount?

Or a Sega Harley, or a Hi-Speed?

There is a dirty Sega Harley at Docs Harley in Kirkwood. Not sure if they own it or not? I was there buying some Novus and thought about asking them if I could clean it for some trade on Novus. Looks okay, but would need a total shop job.

Good luck on the games.

Just an update...
Brian bought my 2 pins at asking price..there was no haggling and he even threw in extra cash to help with packaging (it was offered and not asked for). He was super easy to deal with and had no problems waiting for his company check to clear.

My prices in the pins were about the going rate. I probably could have gotta a bit more if I wanted to sit on them. I'm trying to raise a little cash for an upcoming wedding so 'dumping' them at a fair price worked for me.

Other than moving a pin to a local guy in a trade...these were the first to pins I've sold since I started collecting in about 1999. Was kinda weird playing them for the 'last' time before they got hauled out to the garage.

I wouldn't hesitate in the least to do business with him again...it was an extremely pain free transaction (expect the part of actually selling a pin =().

machines needing more work done then advertised

cant remember who said there was some kind of water damage on pinballs they had bought. something about the containers on a ship floating on water for weeks, the salt air...and they are stored near the water on both ends of the voyage and for who knows how long on their end...

also on top of all the problems with the pins, the voltages will need to be changed as well as Portugal uses DC. thats not too tough to switch over (reimport) but has to be factored in

keep seeing that ad on mr pinball and am tempted. then i think i could just go over there for a month or two and buy games out of the newspaper or from an OP and send them back myself. cut out an extra man anyway. probably never will but its fun to roll that around

I've got a Cyclone I've just started on restoring that I'll be selling when complete.

I do not know... I have never send a container or received one. I guess a lot can go wrong. But i do know someone who imports jukeboxes from the usa to germany. He always uses his own packagers and dedicated containers. And i think that is the only way to do it. Have someone pack em who know what he is doing. And have a container with only your own stuff.

Anyhow those pinballs are probably not much cheaper with all shipment costs...

Yes, things can go wrong. Luckily the containers I have had in the past were not too terrible. Its when you get a big mixture of game eras Williams from the late seventies that looked like they dumped a gallon of paint on it for the touch up. Or stacked and no protection.

Looking for a '78 Bally Playboy and an Apollo 13 if anyone wants to sell.

There is a '78 Plyaboy sitting in a barn somewhere in TX....just no one knows where. Watch American Pickers. ;)

i have my lethal weapon 3 and hook for sale right now, i also plan on selling my counterforce, blackhole, haunted house, and possibly volcano.
