Everyone it seems has access to pins that cost under $750. If you have these pins and they are decent titles you should let me know. Ill give you $1000. I see everyone posting these really low prices all the time and Im here to let you know Ill give you more than what your asking. I might not always want it but I will keep it in mind. As long as you can handle me shipping it from you to me everyone wins.

They call me Big Daddy Alky!!

lol, just trying to increase my accessibility to different machines. I try to keep my retailer status in check here and one of the ways is to give a little bit more than asking price, at least im getting a pin from someone I should be able to trust doesnt lie to me about its condition and would be more apt to help when it comes to me getting it shipped. I have to deal alot with random people on craigslist across the country and I send money blindly to alot of people with no guarantee I am not getting screwed. Everyone on here always seems to know where $1000 or cheaper pins are so I figured maybe its worth a shot. Its not my money its my bosses and I usually pay higher anyway so why not try to put a little extra cash in the KLOV pockets.

Ive heard nothing but bad things about the last couple container shipments people have received.

I do not know... I have never send a container or received one. I guess a lot can go wrong. But i do know someone who imports jukeboxes from the usa to germany. He always uses his own packagers and dedicated containers. And i think that is the only way to do it. Have someone pack em who know what he is doing. And have a container with only your own stuff.

Anyhow those pinballs are probably not much cheaper with all shipment costs...

The problem is with the pins coming from Europe to the US. From what I have been told people getting containers would be used to a couple machines needing more work done then advertised but now they say everything is so messed up by the time they fix everything they are making minimal money and more things are coming in missing boards and such as well.

Yeah i can understand that. And i do not have a solution on that problem. But for me living in the netherlands and seeing the difference in pricing ...it seems strange really. But for me it is good since i am at the cheap side of the sea.

Think you would need a company that would buy them and inspect them before buying and sending them. There is always the issue trust... Everybody just wants to make money.

I have thought about tracking down a Stern dealer over there and seeing about paying them a fee to do exactly what you mentioned but its not really too hard for me right now to get what I need right here.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say XNIF lives in Europe somewhere.

We Americans are an ethnocentric bunch, aren't we?

Wow, I've long been looking for a word that exactly describes it, but yes you lot are ;););)

For pins yes, but DEFINITELY not for videogames...although...you CAN be lucky once in a while ;)

But in general, it seems like the US is candystore full of sweets for almost free compared to what we can find in terms of arcade videogames.

We should start an exchange: pins to the US, videogames to Europe (like "the German guy" does ;))

You do have to consider that the dollar is very low to the Euro at the moment (which is great for me, yeah you guessed it, I'm from Europe (Netherlands) too) this makes importing stuff more expensive for the US guys though.

Depends on what part of the country you are in. Here in south Texas pinball and video games are rare to find. A deal is even more rare.

What titles or atleast era of games are you looking for? If we're talking pre-1980 EM machines I can probably come up with a truck load for you pretty quickly

@level42 yes videogames are crazy. Searching forever to get a nintendo cab. I just gave it up. Also candy cabs are very expensive but since some ppl started to import containers astro cities prices did drop.

Also not every pin is cheap here. Top 10 pins are maybe more expensive as they are in the usa. But things like pin 2000 go for around 1000 - 1500 never more. And all non dmd pins from 80 - 90 almost never exceed 500 dollar. Some collectors pins are more expensive ofcourse.

But there are a lot of bargains....they really cheap ones. I bought a williams comet for 150 dollar, working with wear on playfield. My next pin will be a revenge from mars that i am hoping to score under 1000 dollar.

Anyhow..they are all for 220 volts most maybe easy to convert...but some might need new power supplies
