I like the new forum

Yes, you should be able to, but I know that no one can. The forums have a permission auditor to see if any of conflicting permissions are getting in the way. They aren't. Supposedly everyone should be able to edit the title as described. I opened a trouble ticket yesterday on the issue, but haven't received a helpful response yet.

A short term fix is in place... subject to change... 90 days edit ability in the Trading Post sections, 24 hours in other sections. Note this issue is ongoing.

Not sure if this has been mentioned before but, when I do a keyword search or phrase, the word or phrase is not highlighted in a different color. This function made searching each post for the information I need easier. Is this a function that will be turned back on in the future?

Known issue, no solution known currently. Just added further info in the announcement thread.

The new look is nice, it'll just take some getting used to. I'm not particularly a fan of the 'conversations' layout, though...

was thinking about this today. Are there any stats on avg # of posts/threads per day prior to transition and after transition. Would be good to see that now and 6 months from now.

difficult to gauge the stats now because there are so many variables being affected because of the migration. 404 (file not found) links, dead bookmarks, redirects and search engine spidering new content. All of this is undoubtedly hurting the forums standing at the moment.

Just a simple track of the number of registered members per day, and posts per day would suffice. (I've always wanted to see this data, with trends.)

You could skip all of the guests, bots, etc, as a first-order measurement.

June vs October figures would be a better metric. Just my opinion.
