I know this has been discussed - 13" tube swap/chassis compatibility...

Of course, the limits on searching here means I can't find it now.

I'm trying to recall what 13" chassis had for specific neck sockets/adapters. I recall the following:

13" G07 - CR-28
13" K4700 - CR-25

But what of the others? K4800? 13" K7000/K7201? Others?

I have some TVs that I'm trying to pull tubes from so I can toss the TVs, and I need to know whether they are worth saving. Already tossed an old 80's TV that had a CR-20 neck, and another that had a A51 tube (20") despite the 19 in the model number. (Yes, I saved the chassis so i could salvage parts and the neck sockets.)

So far, I have at least one 13" CR-31 tube, and I'm wondering if I should keep it. It has a tiny scratch on the glass, but looks good otherwise...

Steve, here's my very non-complete list...

CR31 = some WG 19K7000/some WG19K7203/WG13K4800
CR30 = Matsushita 19"ers
CR28 = 13" G07-FBO
CR6 = every 19" black & white I've ever worked on
CR24 = Hantarex 25" MTC 9110/WG 19K6100/Electrohome 19" G08
CR25 = WG13K4700/Nanao MC-2000S/all the 19" Toei's I've worked on
CR3 = I had a oddball NEC brand in a Cosmic Avenger
