I know I may get shot for saying this but,

I picked up the PS3 version tonight for 20$ from Gamestop. Used, but who cares. I guess honestly, if I had more money and knew it was a sure thing, then I could have bought it new so the developers got some cash, but you never know with these things.

The ball physics are pretty good, not spot on, lots of crazy acceleration that wouldn't happen on a real table. Graphics are great.

I played Space Shuttle first, since it's the pin I clearly would be most experienced with. I beat my real life high score, with just over 3 million. How sad. :|

Played Black Knight a bit, never played it before, pretty fun but hard for me to focus on both playfields. Played Firepower, again, never played it, but did manage to clear all of the primary objectives after a few games, which lets you put a table of your choice on freeplay. Very cool, because collecting the coins to unlock them? Takes...forever. :|

Played Funhouse, and yeah...I suck at it. This table was the worst I've seen so far with the nutty ball speeds...shooting the loop in front of Rudy that opens the trapdoor, that ball just flies like crazy around that thing, you'd think you were playing High Speed 2....

Biolab on Pinball FX is awesome. My favorite original table. Someone needs to license it and make the real deal! I like the physics in the Williams collection better than FX tho

I have fun with it on the Wii from time to time. I was seriously amused the one time a ball got loose on the floor (yes, somehow a ball got out of the pin and rolled across the floor a bit and out of sight). I think I ended up having to exit back to the Wii menu to regain control (it couldn't quite deal with the ball going missing). I was most annoyed when I heard the 360 version was going to have an extra table - I'm OK with the Wii graphics (I j
knew exactly what I was buying), but the missing table annoyed me.

Other than that, it's pretty cool - I don't want to spend the money on a bunch of pins yet, so I'm pretty happy with it.

the 360 version has three additional tables over some versions....not sure if the wii is one:

-medieval madness

- tales of the arabian nights

- no good gophers

biolab is fantastic. i have all the tables that they've released...i really like PBFX2. great game.

if you haven't downloaded all of them, there are a few that are even better than biolab, if you can believe that.

space shuttle: i LOVED playing that one virtually until a buddy of mine figured out how to keep stacking extra balls easily and wound up with some retarded score over a few hundred million (IIRC). i had previously set it at 7 million and thought i was doing pretty good. he ruined that table for me.

funhouse: i've never played it on a real table....but i absolutely HATE it virtually. i never wanna see that pin again.

Can't you do that with the real Shuttle just by shooting the crap out of the change reward ramp though? :p

Yes, the Wii version lacks all those tables. I think the Wii version may have been the first one released. So by the time they got it ported, they had time for more tables. Awesome for the 360 owners, sucks to be me. Especially because I like NGG a lot.

"FarSight Studios is extremely proud to announce that we will be releasing a new pinball game in early 2012! We've been busy acquiring licenses, building new tables, and developing our technology on many platforms.

I'll be buying the new game when it comes out.

Playing Williams Hall of Fame is what actually got me interested in actually buying a pinball machine. I thought they were a cool novelty but after learning about the rules and objectives I had to have one. I've been on a bit of a mission to buy the pins I like on this game and so far have Pinbot and Space Shuttle. Gorgar and Funhouse are next on my list.

I didn't know the HD versions had extra tables. I'm going to buy the PS3 version now! I"m hooked on this thing. It's works extra good if you have a big screen TV. It actually does a pretty good job of simulating the table laid out in front of you.

I have it for the ps3 but can't play it because the flipper timing is so far off.I'm not sure why but I push the button to flip and a half of a second goes by before the flipper on the game moves.

No good gofers is about goodamn impossivle to play where my ps3 is becaus of the wonky table view angle ( high and far away). The 45" tv sits aboce eye level on a dresser in my room and theres like no way to
See everythibg going on sitting five feet away below the tv. Horrible.

TOTAN I actually finished the table though. 104 million. Almost had a full second Runthrough on the same game. Was two gems short.

Agree 100%, I can never find a good viewing angle on that table, and then the view changes when you get multiball. :(

This might be your TV. Lots of them have input lag. Some TV's have a "game" mode to prevent it. If yours doesn't google the model # of your TV and games.

Had the same issue with my Sony LCD (different game) and found settings changes to eliminate it.

What the heck is the TV doing that introduces lag? Because if it's the TV, this means that the TV is buffering significant amounts of video. What the heck is it doing that for?

Just put up a 65.5 million on Whirlwind. Should put me somewhere around the low 200's on the leaderboard. :)

Put up a kickass mideval madness game last night. 305 million, completed all modes abd was in victory lap mode on my last ball. :)

I picked up this game used for $15 last night for my PS3. I can't believe I overlooked this and if it wasn't for this thread I would have never known about it. While it doesn't quite feel like the real thing (I don't know how you could reproduce the feel of an actual pin), I'm overall impressed with this collection.

Graphics are freakin sweet in 1080p!

I have the Williams Collection on my PS3. It's fun. If nothing else, it lets you get an idea of what a pin is like without playing the real thing.
