I knew there was a reason I kept junk around for 8 years. (Monitor Test rig)

Ha, I (like many I am sure), keep several virtually worthless parts lying around in case I ever need them.

This particular day, I have an AC power block from an off road thunder that fell out of my truck 8-9 years ago.

I decided to clean my work bench and make room for a test rig of sorts for my g07 rebuilds.

This piece has the ac line filter, fuse,ac distribution block , all built into it. One of the molex/amp connectors apoear to be for an on/off switch. I bypassed that for now.

So I just took my iso. Xformer, mounted it to the top, and I have a pretty portable small footprint little monitor test rig.

Good idea!
ha, I made it work. I am pretty pleased with it. Actually, I am ore pleased that I spent the 3 hours necessary to clean off my work bench. The fact that I FINALLY found a use for a piece of junk that I kept for 8+ years made me feel justified for keeping it. hahahha

Wired the on/off switch in. (Mistake not to do so initially).

Now you're getting all fancy on us.

What next? A power light? Then a custom paint job, professional labels?

If you put flames on the side.....
