I killed my Freddy Pinball before ever getting it working
Disregard the previous message about the light board connector... I resolved that issue...
I just brought this Freddy Pinball machine home. Finally got all the wires hooked up. Somehow I had the wire that goes to the bottom of the "Power Supply" board swapped with a similar pin connector that goes to the top of the "Driver Board" (see photo named "connectors").
When I turned on the game, it just hummed and made smoke. I pulled out all the boards one by one and examined them for bad capacitors, broken solder points and/or burn marks... I did find burn marks only on the "display Controller" board.
Now, the game wont start, no display on the LED board, no nothing, just lights on the light board and playfield. Power supply (inside cabinet) makes noise. I have also checked the 2 fuses just inside the cabinet to the right of the coin door. I really dont know anything about these machines.
Is it possible that I could either "re-cap" the bad dsiplay controller board and everything work again? Unfortunately, I cannot bring the machine anywhere for service; I will have to have someone come on site at my expense.

I've been waiting for this pin for over a month and I screwed it up before I even got to play it at home (yes, it worked perfect before I screwed it up).
Please help.
