I just played the 25th Anniversary Pacman 25" Screen

Well I was on holiday's with the kids and went into the Water Park of America Arcade to kill some time one afternoon. The had Pacman 25th, Lord of the Rings Pinball, and T2 Salvation and a light gun full size shooting alley with rifles and guns.

Pacman was fun on a 25 inch screen and played well my kids got bored watching me clear level after level on Pacman as it was on fast mode so it was easy as can be. Lord of the Rings was working well and had a bit of cab wear but had no issues. It was not as fun as I remember it (like most new Sterns it was just ok), T2 Salvation I did not get time to play but I have played it before and it is a great 2 player shooter, The shooting gallery was awesome and I did pretty well at it. I really liked the play on the 25th Pacman as the controls worked well and all the games I played were working.

The place was empty and the water park was a bit lower in attendance that I would have expected.

I have one of those 25th anniversary machines here at the house. I like playing it, just had to switch out the joystick. The original was not that great to play Pac-Man with. Put in a Wico and it is much better.

Agreed, Wocis do the job and well.

I don't know about these, but every one I've played makes my eyes start to "blur" and feel odd. I really don't like anything about them. Not the cheap inkjet art, art designs, monitor, joystick, nothing except that they play Pac-Man.

I can't play one for more than 60 seconds, while I can play happily on mine just fine. They may as well just use LCDs.
