So I don't have a pinball machine just yet. A veteran in my area told me to take a look at all the different types of pins and decide what I like best. I've taken several months playing pins here and there. I really do like some of the top games like Indiana Jones and Fun House. But I just discovered a pin I'm into. I thought it was really awesome. It's called Meteor, I'm sure a lot of you know it of course but I didn't realize how much fun it was. I guess I'm one of those guys that likes that in-between era. But I couldn't seem to get enough of it. Recently, I also play the game called Friendship 7, named after the NASA program of course. That game is much older but those two games I seem to have the most fun with so I think these are two games that all put on my hit list.

Were you having a stroke while typing that?

good day.

There is not a pinball called "me dear" I grabbed my 2015 price guide as I tried my best to decipher your post. There's "Medieval Madness", "Medusa", "Meg AAton", "Melody", etc, etc. What exactly is the name?

I apologize, I am a dork, I have to use my new dragon dictate. Since I have hands as steady as Muhammad Ali and I'm still getting used to it. I went ahead and corrected my original post with the grammar issues.

Meteor and a lot of the other early Sterns are a lot of fun, I really enjoy them alot. If you know Mike Huntsman in this area, he's really into the older Sterns/Bally machines from that era.

If you already fell in love with it, you should get one. It is a great game, doesn't have all of the bells and whistles, but it has the magic. I always enjoy playing that pin.

Well I'm going to put out for one beside it. I'm going to want one that's not totally rebuilt for two reasons number one I can't afford it refurbished and I do enjoy putting stuff back together. Plus I'm entering any master's program which kind of prevents me from buying a lot of games right now.

Meteor will grow old fast you seem like your into the space theme so try and play Space Station by Williams. That is a nice system11 with deep ruleset and great replay value. I have a bunch of newer fancier pins but when I head to a buddies house that has one we play the crap out of that game.

Second this.
Space Stations is a great game, especially if you like the space theme (which I do). Cool sounds, great lighting effects, really fun to play with some good bells and whistles that are better than some DMD pins.
Also fairly low production, yet still reasonably affordable.

Meteor was the first pinball machine I ever owned, my dad called me one day from a garage sale saying they had a pinball machine there for $75 and asked if I wanted it so I of course said yes, well he got them down to $60 and delivered it to me. it needed new rubbers but worked all the way! the tone it makes while playing and the tone getting faster really makes you get kind of frantic later in the game, great pin in my opinion but I'm not a huge pin guy.

Meteor is a fun pin, but one most people get board of pretty quickly, especially in a small pin collection. I would recommend looking into Firepower for something of the same era and price point. Firepower has a 3 ball multiball (the first machine to do so) and incorporates some speech (only the 2nd machine to do so, after Gorgar). Firepower also seems to play faster than most SS pins i have played.
