I just died laughing....

You really have to use your imagination or know what the cabinet looks like, since his lighting is terrible. I wouldn't watch the whole video, since the camera work was making me dizzy!

Oh, did you catch him call it a "console", not an "arcade game"?

Scott C.

WTF... He reminds me of that German kid off of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I like his tech approach "Blow in the fan there is probably a lot of dust in there" I just about pissed myself from laughing.

I liked it when he said the fan is to start it up

He's not so sure that Street Fighter II was ever on Atari, but I trust he'll look into it and get back to us.

Highlights:

1. Classic arcade games were from 1970 or 1971!??!?
2. Street Fighter II is from Atari?!?!?!
3. It freezes on a regular basis?!?!?!
4. Blowing in the fan fixes it ?!?!?!?!
5. THEY PAID $5000 FOR IT, AND THAT WAS PRETTY CHEAP!!!!!!!!

How rich is this kid?

Parents would be kicking themselves in the ass if they ever found out about MAME.

Ah, give the kid a break. He sounds pretty darn young.

He also sounds pretty proud of his machine and as if he likes the games on it. I can support that.

Besides, just imagine the stupid shit we all would have released to the world if we had today's technology "back in the day". ;-)

With two kids of my own I think he sounds pretty cute. He is totally into that machine regardless of it's performance issues. One of these days he will look back and laugh.

no kidding right, i dont even want to think about it

but i agree give the kid a break good for him he seems pretty proud of his game.

I was about to say this... kid sounds like he's maybe 10? That means he was born in 1999 for christ sakes... 1970-1980 sounds like the 1950's to him.

That was super funny... Its cool that he's into classics.

Jon

Haha that was really funny !

They aren't classic they are classical games .

I think he gave a better review then I could .

Very good post, it's great that more young people are starting to get into the classics. I just can't get over the fact that he thinks $5000 is cheap.

I like how he used the ol' "atari blow" technique to fix the game....too funny. It used to work on those early consoles, so why not the big ones.......:p

I remember clearly blowing into the slot of an Atari 2600 on a daily basis. Im sure the blowing did nothing, just needed to reseat the cartridge which was done during the blowing process.
