I Hit the Playchoice MOTHERLOAD!!!

Just clipped the factory connectors and wired in a new switching power supply. We are now operating at 100%. I've tested about 20 boards so far and only had one dud - MB3. Can't wait to get my hands dirty and test the rest. Thanks for the kind words and the interest. I'll be sure to let every one know when I'm ready to sell or trade anything.

I could use a find like that to fill my PC10. I've got three games for it, and two aren't fully working, and I'm already tired of spending money on it, lol. I need a sweet deal to make me feel better about how much I've spent on it.

if you dont have a 1.1 bios in your playchoice get one it will more than likley fix the problems you are having with the non working carts (the security chips causes 90% of non working carts)
the other thing is on the bottom left of the cart is a cap replace that cap and it will fix 5% out of the 10% left over

Awesome, thanks for the advice. I will have to check it out.

Honestly, I haven't tested them in my system yet. I got them in a deal as "not working" or "partially working." So, who knows, maybe they will work in mine.

do those use the same 10NES chip for lockout that NES consoles used? if so, you can clip the leg on pin 4 of the 10nes chip and connect it to ground. or, just clip the leg. i believe it works either way.

If they are sealed they would contain the topper if there is one for that game. It would be the early games that might not have one. But these sealed ones could prove their topper existence.
