Placed an order late Thursday (11pmish) and today it will be out for delivery... :)
It helps that they are local too...
That is some seriously fast shipping....

I just placed my first order with them monday and recieved my package wednesday afternoon. They have everything!

If you are local, they even do a will call too...
I order usually for computer repairs (Caps etc) but started using them for my Arcade caps due to the fast turn around and local if I need it NOW. Great customer service too... They will help you cross reference parts etc.

Well time to finish fixing this one laptop and wait on the mailman as I have two monitors to re-cap and change transistors... I just need to hit Home Depot and get a small parts box to add all these extra caps into... I had 16 lines of parts ordered and no less than 10 items each... I should be set for a few months. :)

Have a great day all!

Yes, Mouser is the best!

+1 on that. Placed a web order about a month ago late in the evening and literally 20 minutes later remembered I forgot 2 - 30 watt wire wound resistors. I called their 800 number and spoke to a customer rep explained the situation and asked if I could amend the order to add the parts, after checking he told me order was already packed and ready to ship, he then asked if I wanted to place another order for the parts and I told him no, wasn't about to pay shipping for 2 resistors, the rep said no problem I'll have them sent for free, which he did.
Great service, and no minimum order.

I've ordered from Mouser MANY times over the years, and they have always been second to none. A few times, they had parts that no one else had. Definitely fast shipping!!!!

They are always one of the first ones I think of anytime I need electronic stuff.

I like Mouser, but I typically order from Digikey because of shipping. With Mouser being in Texas, and UPS ground being slow and expensive (for what you get), it typically doesn't get here until the next week (unless I order on Monday, then it might get here Friday). And the minimum shipping charge is usually ~$7.

When I order from Digikey, I can get it shipped USPS first class ($2.41), which usually gets here in 2 days (I don't bother with Priority), and delivers on Saturday.

But yes, Mouser and Digikey both have a very large selection, and great customer service every time I've had to contact them.

Does Digikey still ding you an extra $5 if your order is less than $20-$25 though?

I don't know they kind of piss me off they take the money out of my account when I place tho order then I have to wait to find out shipping. Then they take the same amount out again with the shipping charges then refund me the original amount a week later. So for large orders I'm out double my money for a week, I usually get my parts before my refunded money.

Nope (#7: http://dkc1.digikey.com/us/en/mkt/Terms.html )... with $2.41 shipping, I tend to just order what I want when I need it, rather than trying to "build up" an order. I ordered a <$5 order the other day, just because I wanted to get those parts while I was thinking about them.

Oh, and if you're in no hurry, I've seen that you can mail a check and they'll ship for free (costing your postage/check, of course). Apparently they have some limits, but I've never tried, so I'm not sure what. Here's a couple links that reference it: http://www.4sqrp.com/resource/parts_vendors/digimous.htm and http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=297774&page=1 .
